Mechanism
The zinc salt of PCA (a natural moisturizing factor). It is said to address sebum through 5α-reductase inhibition and antibacterial action, while PCA provides moisturization.

A change in feel over several days to several weeks.
Cautions
Zinc can precipitate at high pH, so formulation pH management is required.
