Onset
In a study applying 0.1% cream twice daily for 60 days, hydration and elasticity improved at days 30 and 60; low-molecular forms (50, 130 kDa) also reduced wrinkle depth at day 60 (Pavicic 2011). The moist feel right after application is a sensory effect, separate from clinical figures.
Cautions
None noted (primary data that it draws water out in low humidity are unconfirmed).
