In short · TL;DR
Category
Stem Cell & Culture
Effect
Tissue regeneration promotion, anti-inflammatory, collagen synthesis promotion, wound healing
Concentration
0.01-1% in cosmetics (1,000-10,000 ppm)
Effect
Tissue regeneration promotion, anti-inflammatory, collagen synthesis promotion, wound healing
Mechanism
Salmon testis-derived DNA fragment. Binds to A2A purine receptors → VEGF production promotion → Angiogenesis → Tissue regeneration. Anti-inflammatory action (TNF-α suppression). Fibroblast proliferation promotion. Also used as the main component in Rejuran injection in aesthetic medicine
Typical concentration
0.01-1% in cosmetics (1,000-10,000 ppm)
Onset
Skin elasticity improvement: 4-8 weeks. Faster with injection
Cautions
Caution for fish allergy as it is salmon-derived. Significant difference in penetration and efficacy between injection and topical application. Clinical data for topical use is less abundant than for injection
